"Chopped" 8/11- A FAMILY FEUD OF SORTS

NO, no one from "Family Feud" is competing here tonight. Instead, here are two pairs of brothers, but as usual, only one's charity will be $10K happier:

Appetizer: Cape gooseberries, falooda glass noodles, watercress & bacalao

Kent: Falooda noodle salad w/ peppers, lemon & rice vinegar- C (he was competing for the March of Dimes)
J: Bacalao w/ watercress salad, dashi falooda noodles, soy sauce, red onion & mirin (just at the first break, one of his pots caught fire)
L: Brandade Bacalao salad w/ parsley, lemon & kalamata olives
Kevin: Brandade w/ gooseberry vinaigrette, cream, shallots & potatoes

Entree: Beef tip cap, cognac, green bean chips & cinnamon rolls

J: Green bean cognac aioli w/ shallots, tomatoes & cannellini beans
Kevin: Beef tip cap steak w/ sweet & savory bread pudding, cream. pancetta & onion
L: Beef braciole w/ Parmesan, beef stock & thyme- C (he was playing for the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society)
