"Whodunnit?" 8/11

In tonight's penultimate episode, there will be four locations to investigate instead of the usual three. However, the competitors will have to earn their way into that mystery room. How? By going outside & picking away on a giant block of ice.
W- Kam (in addition to being the only one to enter that room, he gets a bonus three min. in search time for one of the other areas)

(Notes: The three ladies were supposed to have verbally said where they wanted to go, but they didn't come to a resolution, so they each chose an envelope out of three from a blind draw.)

Backyard: Kam & Cris

There was ice in the pool & frozen hot coffee stuck near it in a teacup that was supposed to have been in the library.

Library: Lindsey 

She saw lots of confidential letters on a desk written by Ronnie (while he was in a white spa robe) to Giles w/ The Killer's name blacked out. One cup that looks like it had powdered milk in it wasn't labeled, plus there was cream on a spoon.

Morgue: Melina

There were frozen ice marks & some burns on Ronnie. When she took the body's temperature, it was 105 degrees at the time of Ronnie's "death".

MYSTERY AREA: It's an attic w/ surveillance footage.

KR #18: "You've all poured your hearts out in my little game. Most of you left will die just the same. Following the bouncing ball that has a clue. Go where you're told on the chosen few."

As soon as a big container of white ping-pong balls exploded, Melina grabs one w/ KITCHEN marked on it.

KR #19: "These cans are filled w/ castor beans. Dig deep down if you have the means. Pull out a silver container. The next step is NOT a no brainer"

KR #20: "This phase of the game has many an angle, these words in particular...may be tough to wrangle. Circle a specific Rue Manor location, then you're allowed to go to that station. Back up your choice with the loop of your ink, then look for what's orange...and go grab your mink."

Several locations were hidden in a word search puzzle...the right one's the pool & Kam gets to the orange liquid nitrogen tank first in a nearby enclosure (Melina was in the right area, but didn't stay there long enough), which was hooked up to the hot tub's water tank...& that makes him a FINALIST!

LAST ONE APPARENTLY OUT BEFORE FINALE- Melina (disappearing smoke act after the four had a wild ride in a Mercedes limo)

(Final note: Giles was kidnapped & tied up.)
